My fifth and final year of coaching the St. Lawrence Spartans flag football program. One team of fifth and sixth graders, one team of seventh and eighth graders. At one point, between the two teams, I had over forty kids to worry about getting on the field. I loved every single minute of it. I got to watch a group of kids--most of whom I'd known since they were in second grade, when I started working at the school--grow up. I learned a lot, too. For anyone who has the time, I recommend coaching. Fall, 2001.
